PRESS RELEASE PUT OUT BY DIGITAL ARTS PUBLICITYFebruary 21st, 2008 - New York. And democratic process that involves the audience.Talking about his 2nd feature film Lance Weiler says explains in this video, "I didn't want distribution, I had my own."Filmmaker Mike Belmont, known by his YouTube fans as MDotStrange, explains at a recent panel at the Berlin Film Festival Talent Campus how his sundance premiere and subsequent distribution offer unfolded. "They give you an advance which is like some banana or something, in reality they have all these fees that actually take up the advance. So I looked at that and I said, no forget, I don't want to do it."Co-director of Four Eyed Monsters Arin Crumley explains, "I don't think you need anything in between you and your audience."
