So they've created their own brand new style of film festival. It's called From Here to Awesome and they've partnered with major Web 2.0 players including (Amazon, MySpace, Withoutabox, Blip.tv, and YouTube). Their goal is to create a viable alternative to the 98 percent of films that don't make it into top tier film festival. These films rarely meet their full potential audience and From Here to Awesome plans to use social networking and digital distribution to turn this around.From Here to Awesome's focus is on what empowers the filmmaker.
