Steven Spielberg - 2010 MPSE Filmmaker Recipient - Acceptance Speech

The Motion Picture Sound Editors selected Steven Spielberg as the recipient of the organization’s 2010 Filmmaker Award at the Golden Reel Awards. The MPSE cited Spielberg's appreciation of the interweaving of the sonic process of the soundtrack in his projects. "Steven Spielberg's evolution of the sound experience and collaboration with the sound and music editors has helped to shape new dimensions in sound" said MPSE president Bobbi Banks.
