RAW Video from Canon EOS 500D/T1i Shot at Southport Airshow - Uncut/Edited Export to WMV 720p 30FPS

www.rjbradbury.com Some video I shot after owning the Canon EOS 500D for 2 weeks, shot at the Southport Airshow Sep 2009. I have not edited this video in anyway , just literally stuck a load of clips together. 1 or 2 clips are from my sony DSC-H50 Camera (shoots SD). The 500D has some dust sport on the sensor that I did not notice until i got home and reviewed the images and video from the day. I am no camera man.. so video fottage is not the best in terms of framing and panning. Some was shot on a tripod (Manfrotto 190BX with 390RC2 head) and some hand held. Camera - Canon EOS 500D/T1i/Kiss x3 (why they dont just stick to one name I dont know) Len’s used - Canon EF-S 18-55 (rarely) Canon EF-S 55-250, Sigma 150-500. I tried hand holding the Sigma 150-500 dueing burst shooting stills and after 10 minuets it starts to get heavey. One thing i did learn from this day out is that its takes time to learn , spot metering and panning techniques. I say spot metering as the sky was rubbish so I spot metered allot of shots as the sky was going to blow out anyway. You will also notice the internal mic is not up to much.. being only mono and picking up wind noise. Unfortunately you cannot connect an external mic to the 500D. I will try to improve the internal mic by adding a foam cover to the front to prevent/cut down wind noise and also distortion in music studios. Thank You Rick
