"시민의 힘 기사로 보여드리겠습니다" : 객원,교육,기자,시민,신문,임연희기자,중도일보,지방신문ㆍ영상길이 : 02:16ㆍ등록자 : 중도일보ㆍ등록일시 : 2010.05.13 (22:26)  제2기 객원기자 교육 후 본격 활동 돌입  “직업기자들이 모든 분야의 전문가일 수는 없는데 이들을 통해 진실이 왜곡되는 모습을 보면서 시민기자의 역할이 필요하다는 것을 알았습니다.” 대전 충남북에서 선발된 본보 제2기 객원기자 78명이 13일 소양교육을 받고 본격 활동에 들어갔다. 초등학생부터 80대 할아버지까지 폭넓은 연령과 직업, 경력을 가진 이들이 본보 객원기자로 참여한 이유도 다양하다.  전직 한국전자통신연구원 연구원인 김동석(53·대전시 유성구 신성동)씨는 “자신의 분야에서 전문가인 일반 시민도 기자가 될 수 있고 이런 기사는 시민기자가 더 잘 쓸 수 있지 않느냐”며 “직업기자들이 접근하기 어려운 전문영역과 기자들이 취재하기 어려운 생활 속 이야기들을 기사로 쓰고 싶다”고 포부를 밝혔다. 이날 객원기자들은 김재영 교수(충남대 언론정보학과)의 ‘시민기자의 역할과 책임’, 이승선 교수(충남대 언론정보학과)의 ‘시민기자와 언론법’, 황민호 옥천신문 편집국장의 ‘참여저널리즘이 지역을 바꾼다’, 이기동 대전충남민언련 사무국장의 ‘주민이 만드는 공동체신문’에 대한 강의를 들었다. 강의에서 김재영 교수는 “시민기자는 직업기자를 흉내 내는 게 아니라 기자가 못하는 영역의 기사를 쓰는 자리”라며 “무엇을 쓸 것인지, 어떻게 쓸 것인지 보다 내가 잘 아는 내 주변의 이야기를 찾아 가슴을 ?겁게 하는 기사를 써 달라”고 당부했다. 황민호 옥천신문 편집국장은 옥천신문의 성공사례를 통해 “주민을 취재원으로 우리 동네사람, 우리 동네 이야기를 실으니 독자들이 믿고 찾더라”면서 “기자들이 잘 이용하지 않는 버스, 지하철, 도서관, 재래시장 등 틈새시장이 시민기자들의 출입처라고 생각하며 생활 속에서 기사 소재를 찾으라”고 들려줬다. 또 이승선 교수는 시민기자가 지켜야할 언론법을 설명하며 “아무리 좋은 기사라도 언론인으로서의 기본 윤리와 법에 저촉되는 기사에는 주의가 필요하다”면서 “상호 이해관계가 걸린 기사를 취재하는데 있어서 이해당사자 모두의 이야기를 꼭 들어야한다”고 강조했다. 이날 교육에 참여한 김성우 학생(동신중 1년)은 “판암동 생명종합사회복지관에서 발행하는 ‘판...
