Wherearetheynow’s travel blog entry: "This is a long one so grab a drink..... Today we were heading to Macau the gambling capital of Asia by boat. I couldn't wait after what we had heard and read about Macau I wanted to see how it compared to Las Vegas..It had an MGM Grand, it had a Wynn and it even had a Venetian which is currently THE largest hotel casino complex in the world, bigger than anything in Vegas. We checked out of our hotel and decided to walk to the ferry terminal as it was only 10 minutes or so away. The whole process of getting onto boat was straightforward and we were allowed to carry on our bags rather than check them in and let someone carry them, which costs more money. We were told yesterday that we had to pay £4 each to carry large baggage onto the boat but no one asked for money so we didn't pay! As we were leaving one country and heading to another we had to go through immigration again and again I had to request that the guy stamps a page already stamped as I only have 2 or 3 blank pages left in my passport. We flew through checks again and headed to wait to get onto the boat. It was only a few minute and an elevator opened its doors and we were taken down to the waterside and got onto our boat and grabbed our seats, we were on our way to Macau.
