Dedicated to Nicole Kidman. At present, I am making something of a comparison study between Australian shamanism and the early yogic mythologies and practices of India, especially concerning dreamtime, maya, the rainbow serpent and the thousand-headed serpent Sesha with Vishnu. I’ve only gotten far enough along to feel comfortable making this video. The didgeridoo is from Internet Archive: yogis_trip, by musician. It was placed it in public domain, but its such a beautiful piece of music, I felt it needed mention. The images of India and Australia are by way of NASA. Many of the images are from Wikimedia, such as the rattlesnakes and cobras. Some other sites are www.firstpeople.us and www.freeweb.hu. The image on the next to the last frame is based on a photograph of a Lakota by the name of Yellow Shirt. I didn't think he would mind being associated with Shiva. And for Persnickety's sake, the Sanskrit word 'leela' is properly spelled 'lila.' I do not wish to violate anyone's copyrighted material.
