 復興へ響け――。全国高校野球選手権大会(朝日新聞社、日本高校野球連盟主催)の大会歌「栄冠は君に輝く」を、第93回となる今夏は岩手、宮城、福島3県と阪神大震災があった兵庫県の高校生が一緒に歌うことになった。14日の収録に向け、練習に熱がこもる。 「はい、隣のひとの顔を見て唱えて。『私たちは 日本の 希望だ!』」 合唱に参加する宮城県沿岸部の塩釜市、塩釜高校音楽室。9日午後、合唱部顧問の平山俊幸教諭(33)の音頭取りで部員約40人の声が響いた。「被災してもこんなに明るく歌える、って思ってもらおう」と平山教諭は話す。 東日本大震災で、同校では2人の生徒が亡くなった。3月11日、練習中だった合唱部員の大半は学校内で一夜を明かした。新入生を含め半数近くの部員の自宅や両親の実家が全半壊。退部せざるを得なかったり、アルバイトをするために練習に来られなくなったりした部員もいる。 新入生の女子部員(15)は、東松島市野蒜(のびる)地区の自宅を津波で失い、家族8人で避難所に身を寄せている。「ずっと沈んでいても仕方ない。自分を奮い立たせるためにも思い切り歌いたい」 部長で3年の佐藤香織さん(17)は「被災者も、そうでない人も、私たちの歌を聞いて一体感をもってもらえたら」と話す。 14日に福島県須賀川市である収録には、16年前の阪神大震災で被災した神戸市長田区の長田高校の音楽部も加わる。 部員91人のうち参加するのは震災前後に生まれた2年生の男女9人。同市須磨区の井沢葵(あおい)さん(16)は震災時、生後8カ月。記憶はないが、早朝、倒れてきたタンスが葵さんの頭を直撃しそうになり、母が自分に覆いかぶさって助けてくれたと聞いた。 収録の日、同校部員は合唱に参加する東北3県12校にメッセージを書き込んだ色紙を1枚ずつ手渡す。井沢さんはこう書き込んだ。「明日を信じて。私たちは歌でつながる仲間です」(木下こゆる、藤橋一也)     ◇ 収録に参加するみなさんの高校は次の通り。 【岩手】高田▽大船渡▽釜石▽宮古 【宮城】塩釜▽多賀城 【福島】郡山▽郡山東▽安積▽磐城▽安積黎明▽相馬東 【兵庫】長田▽神戸▽関西学院▽親和女子
