Nat is spoiling us rotten. Around lunch we headed off to Santa Monica Beach and Venice Beach after looking around Hollywood some more - past the Scientology for Celebrity building. I won't even go there - how it makes me feel. It was about a 10 degree drop from LA and all foggy in Santa Monica. Cleared up which was great. Ate Mexican again - can't get enough of it. Loved the Promenade here and we strolled around and went to the pier. Walked down to Venice Beach and sure saw some sights. Nimbin is nothing compared to Venice Beach....... Had a great afternoon finished off by dinner at an English Pub. 2nd best fish and chips I've ever had. Gaye still raving about the smokey ribs. Beach nowhere near as nice as Australian beaches, but not bad. Lots of activities going on there that we don't have at home. The beach is really, really wide and takes a lot of walking until you get to the water. Great pathways all the way between the 2 beaches. Home to bed and ready to head off to Las Vegas tomorrow. I am amazed at how many people continually run red lights here. Saw a couple of accidents today and I'm supprised we didn't see more."
