Litchfield, IL Tornadic Supercell Chase 4/19/11

I (Charles Russell) along with friends Tony and Miranda chased a tornado warned supercell in and around Litchfield, IL. I have some footage contained in this video of when the tornado was on the ground, but it blended so much with the surrounding color that it’s nearly impossible to see. Tomtom led us into town instead of the I-55 area just north of Litchfield, so we were roughly 2 miles from the tornado itself, and then we got overtaken by the outflow. All in all it was a successful chase however. In this video, mesocyclone, wall cloud, hail, gust front, high wind, hail, heavy rain, storm damage and more.
