혻 현대자동차가 지난주 화요일 제주도에서 쏘나타 2.4 GDi 시승행사를 열었습니다. 도요타 캠리와 비교시승도 함께 진행했는데요. 캠리와 쏘나타 2.4는 워낙 성격이 다른 차라혻저는 비교시승에 큰 의미를 두지 않았습니다.혻캠리는혻부드러운 승차감에 초점이 맞춰져 있는 반면에 쏘나타 2.4는 스포츠 세단을 표방하기 때문에 우열을 따진다는 것이 무의미하다는 생각입니다. 혻 다만 2.4 GDi(직분사) 엔진은 현대차가 자랑할 만하더군요. 출력, 토크, 연비가혻모두 캠리, 어코드, 알티마 등 일본 중형 세단보다 우수합니다. 2.4 GDi를 탑재하면서 비로소 디자인과 성능이 맞아떨어진다는혻생각이 들었습니다. 2.0 모델은 겉 보기엔 스포츠 세단이지만 엔진 성능이 이에 미치지 못해 조금 민망했던 게 사실입니다. 혻 정지 상태에서 엔진 소음과 진동이 거의 느껴지지 않았습니다. 차 밖에선 엔진 소리가혻어느 정도혻들렸지만 실내는 정말 조용하더군요. 이 부분에 신경을 많이 쓴 것 같았습니다. 하지만 가속 페달을 밟으면 엔진 소리가 그대로 전해집니다. 스포츠 세단의 감성을 살리기 위한 의도적인 세팅인 것 같더군요. 가속감은 좋았습니다. 치고 나가는 것이 묵직하다기 보다 경쾌하다고 해야 할 것 같습니다. 서스펜션도 단단하고 전체적으로 스포츠 세단에 충실한 모습입니다.혻다만 고속에서도 핸들이 가벼운 것은 '옥에 티'였습니다. 혻 혻혻
