Coldplay and Jay-Z: Lost Dirt

A few have been requesting a downloadable MP3. I’m happy to oblige, just remember to give credit where credit is due and say thanks (in the comments would be nice!) and for those who prefer Megaupload: By using footage of the official "Lost!" and "Lost+" video, along with a performance from the 2009 Grammy Awards, as well as footage from Jay-Z's recent performance at Glastonbury I was able to put together a video mash-up to accompany my original audio track. Unfortunately, the Jay-Z footage isn't ideal (there's not a whole lot of him singing the song, nor does he even bother to do the whole thing), and since it's the *only* high-quality live performance I could find I'm stuck with it. As such, there is a much higher ratio of Coldplay footage to Jay-Z footage (despite the song having a higher ratio of Jay-Z vocals to Coldplay vocals). Is this ideal? No. Do I still like the video? You bet your sweet cheeks I do. So, this is a rough cut, a "first draft" if you will. I hope to go back, and perhaps if I can track down better Jay-Z footage put more of that in, as well as tweak the colour-grade of the Jay-Z footage to match the colour-grade of the Coldplay stuff, and also fine tune some stuff here and there (like the crowd noise). But in the meantime enjoy this "first draft", just in time for Coldplay's big trip to Toronto! And please... don't sue me. Remix by Adam Schoales.
