Very swanky place, bell boys, computer in each room, hairdryers and lucky us very warm beer! Had nice sleep in huge single beds. Unfortnately on other side of room to poke the snoring Duncan with a big stick! Had a free morning in Louyang to be mobbed by the local people, who don't see westerners very often! Some even stopped their ballroom dancing in the square to ask us the standard questions: first time in China, where you from, how many brothers? etc. Dunc managed to pull a lovely old lady who wanted to take him home, but settled for a photo! We then pulled an old man who also settled for a photo but now wants me to email him a poem! We then went off for the afternoon to be marched around some caves full of carved buddha's by our aftenoon tour guide, Jeff. He then took us to a temple full of buddhist monks! They were actually more interesting than they sound but we were a bit templed and Budda'ed out by this stage and were missing our celebrity status in the park. So back in the evening we headed back to the park with some others from the group to be surrounded and followed by a group of people (about 30 at one stage).
