Melancholy Plastic — AKA Return of Noodle -- Gorillaz vs Therion mashup

I was really taken with the video for On Melancholy Hill, but felt like it needed some pepping up so I loaded in some Theiron it and seemed to do the trick. The song is from the Swedish metal band Therion’s 1998 album, Vovin and the song is Wine of Aluqah. It was manic and operatic at the same time. The video is taken from On Melancholy Hill of the Gorillaz Plastic Beach album. The creature massaging the manatee/Noodle avatar reminds me of some of Greywolf's stooges from the 1977 animated film Wizards by Ralph Baskshi: "they killed Fritz". I wonder if the On Melancholy Hill video heralds the return of the real, but older, Noodle. Anyway the original music just didn't seem to fit the original video too well, but I still like Gorillaz. Damn jellyfish.
