OK - necessary introspective that I need to get off my chest. Feel free to skip onto the next paragraph if you couldn't care less. For the past few years, it feels as though I've been falling into an emotional slump. I'm not sure what it is, whether stress of work or working so hard at the band(s), getting a house, but it feels as though I've reached a state of being emotionally dead. No feelings. Not happy, not sad, no excitement, no feelings of achievment - nada. Even when I'm obviously overwhelmed by something, maybe an emotional movie or just seeing a happy family, my body is prone to shedding the odd tear. But the odd thing is that I don't actually 'feel' anything inside. Something must be happening deep down as there's a physical reaction, but the conscious must be blocking something out.
