I will miss this summer

I wish I had more video clips from when I spent the whole month of June in England with my family. I mostly took my film cameras with me, otherwise I probably would have had more to share--I regret that most. there were a lot of moments where I wish I had it with me so much to capture little details about my family that I love. but I suppose if I was so involved with trying to capture memories, then I wouldn’t have really took them in. this video would be kind of vague with video clips alone, which is why I chose the song I did. the first time I heard it, the line that struck me immediately was "I am one with you". I am always one with my family, no matter the miles between us. I carry them with me everyday. I remember every detail about my grandparent's faces, the look in their eyes, their body language, the way their laundry smells, their daily rituals, their laughs and smiles... I love every part of their being and it makes my heart ache so terribly to watch this video. originally, I had planned to make it a montage of clips from my whole summer--but I decided that England and the brief clips of 4th of July weekend were most important, because England was still so fresh on my mind. I decided it was more important to keep these memories in a separate video, because this was an important part of my summer that could not be like the rest. the song is "Injoy" by Sol Seppy.
