## Shot 08/18/2010. ## HARRISBURG, Pa. — Catholics throughout the Susquehanna Valley will celebrate the installation of a new bishop in the Harrisburg Catholic Diocese. More Bishop Joseph McFadden is currently the auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia native was appointed to the position in June. News 8's Brian Roche Reports On Installation Mass The mass of installation for Bishop McFadden began at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Cathedral in Harrisburg. News 8's Brian Roche sat down for a one-on-one interview with McFadden. He earned a degree in political science and was a high school basketball coach for seven years before entering the seminary. IMAGES: Bishop McFadden 'It's the idea of taking the gifts and talents that God's given to you and develop them to the best of your ability and if you do that, then you're successful. And so coaching was about helping our players to develop their skills and talents and work together to be the best team we could possibly be. And so in many ways, that's what we do in the church. So, I haven't really stopped coaching,' said McFadden.
