Saturday afternoon we left Isaac and Joanna's, loaded up to the max with food and supplies generously donated from their cupboards. We spent one more night with Gary and Colleen (and some excellent pizzas) before heading south to Robe, a recommendation from Dave. Not long into the drive passing through a little town called Strathylbyn Kat spotted a village fete so the car screeched to a halt, for us to have a look around. We ended up buying some grapes from an extremely rude woman (didn't like her stupid stall anyway). When we were looking for a cashpoint, we came across four red Ferraris parked in a row, seems the owner of the teashop was doing quite well for himself! Back on the road we got to Wellington to get on the coastal road down to Robe. Nothing much at Wellington but there was an unexpected car ferry across the river, not sure why they don't use the traditional bridge method. We then sped down to Robe via some fish and chips at Kingston SE (and a giant crayfish). They're big on fish around here. We got into Robe at around 3pm, and had a drive around. It's a pretty little tourist town, but the campground was a bit expensive so after consulting our camping atlas bible we decided to continue south to Beachport.
