Lovin Spoonful - What a day for a daydream Byron Bay. A whole different world compared to the Blue Mountains. A world of beach babes, surf dudes, people showing off, partying and getting suntanned. After a long night of 14 hours on the Greyhound bus (on which everyone except for me seemed to be sleeping) we arrived in Byron Bay at 9h00 in the morning. The hostel that I had booked wasn't really a hostel, but more a holiday park with all sorts of accommodation; bungalows, private rooms and also dorms. This time I shared my room with 2 English girls, a Canadian girl and a girl from Switzerland. Hardly everyone who I spoke to was staying in Byron Bay for at least one week. Not me, I only had one full day planned here....Byron Bay is known for its beaches and so I decided to get up very early the next morning to see the sun come up, walk to the lighthouse and stop at 'Australia's most Easterly point'.
