A REAL EAS ALERT FROM WBAP: 4/26/11 - 4/4

On April 26, 2011, during the afternoon hours, the North Texas area was hit with severe weather as a system bought on a tornado outbreak in North Texas for two days in a row before it moved out and hit the south even harder, as this same system was responsible for the EF3-EF5 tornadoes that hit Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia hard killing Hundreds of people and injuring Thousands more and cost millions/billions of dollars of damage. While Texas got Tornadoes during this outbreak, it lucked out big time compare to those states. This is a storm system that everyone in the US will never forget. And I recorded these to remember the storm system by, granted at the time of the recordings, I didn’t really expect it to be one of the worst tornado outbreak in a long time. This video has the actual Emergency Alert System alert and then a weather update by WBAP's weather reporter Brad Barton, with the actual EAS Bulletin being read by WBAP news reporter Mark Watkins in the WBAP Studios and Alan Scaia reporting live for an area getting hit with the storm that afternoon. This was recorded between 4:10 to 4:30 PM CDT and this was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northwestern Ellis County and Eastern Johnson County until 5:15 PM CDT.
