サッカー女子W杯日本決勝進出 スポーツショップや大手旅行代理店にも「なでしこ旋風」

「FIFA女子ワールドカップ ドイツ 2011」準決勝で、なでしこジャパンが歴史的勝利を果たし、日本列島が歓喜に包まれた。これで初めてのメダル獲得が確定し、夢のワールドカップまであと1勝となった。なでしこジャパンの歴史的勝利を受けて、未来のなでしこジャパンたちの練習にも熱が入っていた。東京・世田谷のフットボールクラブでは、小学校1年生から6年生の未来のなでしこ30人が練習を行っていた。子どもたちが練習していたのは、川澄 奈穂美選手(25)がスウェーデン戦で決めた見事なループシュート。女の子は「思ったより難しかった...。日本代表に入ります! 入りたいです!」と話した。サッカーを始めたばかりの女の子もいた。女の子は「(目標は?)なでしこのサッカー選手になることです」と話した。そして、なでしこ旋風は、スポーツショップにも影響が出ていた。都内のスポーツショップでは、なでしこグッズがすでに売り切れ状態になっていた。KAMO原宿店の平松潤也さんは「単純に言うと、6倍くらいの売り上げにはなっています。正直、予想外でしたけど」と話した。そして、大手旅行代理店では、なでしこの決勝進出を受け、6日間の観戦ツアーを14日朝から急きょ発売し、問い合わせや申し込みが相次いでいるという。H.I.S.スポーツイベントセクション企画・販売の中村沙絵さんは「特に3連休の一番初めということで、2泊4日でっていう強行で行かれる方とかもいらっしゃいますね。観戦ツアーに行きたいという方がどんどん増えてきて、すごくうれしいですね」と話した。見えてきた世界の頂点。決勝戦の相手は、宿敵アメリカ。澤 穂希選手(32)は「ずっと目標であったメダルだったので、ここまで来たら、頂点目指して頑張りたいですし」と話した。鮫島 彩選手(24)は「金と銀では、本当に天と地の差があると思うので、絶対にここまで来たら優勝したいです」と話した。川澄選手は「本当に選ばれた2チームしか立てないピッチですし、思い切って最後、日本らしいサッカーをして、楽しんでサッカーしたいなと思ってます」と話した。いざ金メダルをかけた決勝戦へ、なでしこたちの挑戦は続く。
