Time is a strange thing that tends to play tricks with you when you alter your regular routine. I think that it is also very true that as you get older time seems to pass more quickly. I am still trying to work out why when you press the ten minute snooze button on the alarm clock the ten minutes goes in a flash but when you are waiting for a bus that same ten minutes seems to take a very long time. You would think that while taking a trip like this that time would not be so important but in fact it seems more so. We are only in each place for such a short time and it will probably be our one and only visit so there is a feeling that we really must make the most of every minute but at the same time it is an opportunity to go with the flow a little and to relax away from the normal day to day pressures that we all face. Well I suppose the next stage after Moscow, the seven days and six nights on the train, will give us the opportunity to really relax. In the meantime we have another day to explore this interesting city. Moscow couldn't be more different than St. Petersburg.
