Colin Bullock "Something Worth Smiling For"

It takes a certain amount of courage to pack a backpack and two guitars & a box of cds, travel across the globe to a country where you know but one person and peruse your music career, but that is exactly what Colin Bullock has done. Since landing on North American soil 18 months ago from his home in Australia, Colin Bullock has been turning heads and tuning ears ever-since. Opening for such as INXS, Xavier Rudd, Metric, Ash Grunwald, The Stills, The Roadhammers & many more and securing many gigs of his own in venues. This young independent Singer/Songwriter has developed a loyal and strong fan base in his new home city of Vancouver by playing 4-5 shows a week up and down the west coast and by keeping in constant contact with his fans via mailing lists, video media, and other online strategies, and now looks to branch out and sprout new leaves throughout Canada & The U.S. Colin recently performed each night during the Olympics and was selected to showcase at Canadian Music Week. Colin just released a single & music video Something Worth Smiling For to a packed house of 150 people at world famous Little Mountain Studios in Vancouver. With one full-length album under his belt, 2007s Learning Curve which has now sold over 6000 copies at shows alone, Colin has started work on album number two. Colin is a polished live act due to the fact he has played more than 240 shows last year alone, and performs Solo, as a Duo (with percussion) and as a four piece band. This passed year has been one of huge momentum for the 24 year old troubadour, and with plans of extensive touring in 2010, it looks as though he is only set to soar higher and beyond in the near future.
