Super Smash Bros. Brawl — 20 May 2011, Friends Matches #01

Now this is the real day when I went absolutely off my rocker...I blame having a lot of people around and available for extra pickup brawleration, you know? It’s clearly not my fault if I'm just going along with each new challenger that approaches, right? RIGHT? Interestingly, EEL was in all but the very last of the matches that I recorded in these sessions...and that includes the previous two ones on the 14th and 15th, too. So maybe it's not so unlikely that I have surrounded myself with unabashed enablers! --- Match #1 — Final Destination Kirby (Joou) vs. Captain Falcon (D007) vs. Diddy Kong (EEL) Accept no imitations! Well, actually, for a little poseur with a faux Falcon helmet, that's a pretty hefty punch, eh? The problem for me is that Kirby falls far too slowly by comparison for me to have a good feel for when to make him begin his windup...it's just a tad different from swinging around that oversized hammer, wouldn't you know. (Not that I ever claimed particularly good timing for using that one in the air either.) --- Match #2 -- Smashville Diddy Kong (Joou) vs. Captain Falcon (D007) vs. Link (EEL) Now, the early several matches from this session were kinda spooky on the selection screen...my randomizer followed EEL's around, so this match immediately followed the preceding one and I picked up his character selection...and the trend continues with the next match, too! --- Match #3 -- Rumble Falls Link (Joou) vs. Captain Falcon (D007) vs. Mr. Game & Watch (EEL ...
