The historic Elliott Museum is demolished, making way for a brand new building.The building that stood for 50 years came down around 9 this morning. All of that will be replaced by a state of the art facility.

Massachusetts officials say four people are dead after at least two tornadoes swept through western and central parts of the state. 1of the tornadoes struck in Springfield, the state’s third largest city.

One young man is doing his part to help tornado victims in Joplin. 9-year-old Tommy Hafer and his friends have been raising money by selling lemonade. He’s raised $350 and gave $100 to one friend who lost her home.

The balloon that was apart of the balloon boy hoax back in 2009 is up for auction. The man behind it, Richard Heene is auctioning it off for a good cause. It’s part of efforts to raise money for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

Raymond Herissee of Boynton Beach was stopped by police, he fled hitting 3 police officers with his car, that’s when the officers started shooting. A dozen officers shot almost 100 rounds at Herissee, killing him.

Kahuna,183 pound sea turtle that suffered from a shark bite, will be undergoing an experimental procedure called Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Staff working on Kahuna hope it will save the turtle from bone infectiion.
