Alligator hunting season runs from August 15 through November 1. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will be selling permits beginning at 10am at any county tax collector’s office. You can also get them online at the FWC's website.

Broward Sheriff’s detectives believe James Fraulo, 41, committed at least 26 burglaries in Pompano Beach between May 27 and June 7. Fraulo said he committed the burglaries to support a crack cocaine habit. He was released from state prison in April.
