With some wonderful weather forecast, I headed out to Petworth Park in Sussex to watch a rut. Lo and behold, the spot I chose to have my lunch was the perfect seat to watch several rutting sessions!

This hedge sparrow spent 6 days from dawn to dusk feeding the cuckoo right outside our dining room window. I have further clips, one showing the cuckoo chasing the host as if to say "I want more".

Our back garden, 5pm, late September 2010. Sparrowhawk finishing meal of collared dove is joined by a magpie (normally sparrowhawk prey) who tries to help tidy up meal. The sparrowhawk looks bemused!
