Early 1990’s gay nighclub in Northbridge WA. This is a AIDS Council of WA health promotion campaign, featuring John Pujol. Northbridge is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, best known for its nightlife. The official suburb and its name date from 1982,[2] prior to which the area was part of the Perth Central Business District (CBD), and was known by informal names such as "North of the Bridge" and "North of the Line". The area is largely a mix of commercial, public and residential properties. Northbridge has a wide variety of cuisine, including many Chinese restaurants, concentrated in Perth's official Chinatown, on Roe Street. It also has many other Asian, Italian and specialised seafood outlets. It was traditionally a hub for Greek and Italian communities before the 1970s, with Perth's first Orthodox Church located on Parker Street.
