Snoqualmie
From: ExposureRoom Top Rated on Mon, Mar 22 2010 10:08 PM
Snoqualmie is one of my favorite places in the world. Situated about 35 miles outside Seattle, this area was used for exteriors in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. In fact, if you watch the opening title sequence, you will see the falls. See this film and more on the Water's Edge DVD

There was a parade in the little town of Snoqualmie so I took some shots with my XHA1 and Letus Ultimate combo. The weather was seriously overcast so very difficult to get any decent shots. I decided to get creative in the edit instead :)

This is my first promo shot on a Canon 7D. It was shot with no crew (other than styling), available light, a Sigma 30mm 1.4 and a Sigma 18 - 200 all on a tripod or handheld with a Z Finder. We only had 2 hours to shoot the whole thing. This is the first cut, final edit will be up in about a week...

This was a project for my Video Comm class. We shot it in a few short hours, had to edit with a deadline in mind, and like every project ran into some problems. While there’s a lot of things I wished I could change, we still had a good time filming and I learned a lot making this.
