Tim introduces the model and sensors for the senior design class. The model is approximately 3' x 3' x 3'. The slabs are 2.5" thick. There are a total of 6 sensors with 3 air temperature probes and 3 surface temperature probes.

Tim introduces the sensors in more depth. The sensor manufacturer is Vernier. A Labquest mini was used for the surface temperature sensors and the air temperature sensors are Go-Temps. All the sensors are directly hooked into a four port USB hub which is connected into 30 ft of USB cable.
