The jobless total in the UK hit 2.26 million in May, the highest figure in 12 years. However, Chris Humphries, CEO of the UK Commission for Employment doesn’t think the number will reach 3 million. “The market is just stabilizing a bit, and employers have been more cautious (with layoffs).”
