Wholesale club Costco (COST) said today its fiscal second quarter profit rose 25 percent, to $299 million, or 67 cent per share. Revenue rose 11 percent to $18.74 billion, as both sales and memberships grew.

Costco posted fiscal fourth quarter earnings that declined by six percent today. Net income totaled $374 million, or 85 cents per share, as compared to $398 million, or 90 cents per share, in the same quarter last year, on revenue that fell a few percentage points to $22.3 billion.
