Chicago’s North Lake Beach shut down Sunday after several people were hospitalized for heat-related illness. At least six people at the Washington Nationals baseball game also ended up in the ER.

Chasers captured some of the reported gustnadoes in Nebraska Monday. A gustnado is a short-lived, low-level rotating cloud that can form in a severe thunderstorm. They can be strong enough to cause damage.
