At the Alameda County Fair funnel cakes and corn dogs are just a part of cruising down the Midway. One of the more adventurous items to taste this year even includes "python on a stick".

The latest blast of heat proved to be the hottest in 9 months. Making this easily one of the warmest widespread days of 2011 for the Bay Area. While numbers were 10° to 15° above average no new record temperatures were set.
