The marine layer is simply entrenched over the Bay Area up to nearly 3,000 deep on Saturday with areas of drizzle or even some light rain possible as well at times, especially overnight and early morning near the coast and inner bay.

Sunshine lately has been a rare commodity for July as temperatures have trended well below average. The typical cool fog has combined with a cold for July Western pattern. The result has been temperatures that feel more like March.
