Due to the snow, 350 homebound people were unable to get the hot meals they depend delivered to their doors when Meals-on-Wheels in Syracuse was forced to call-off deliveries for only the second time in four years.

While it has not been easy to keep local roads drivable the past few days, it’s been equally tough clearing all the snow from huge parking lots at many popular locations. Still, parking spaces must be cleared because shoppers haven't stopped preparing for Christmas.
